Do you really want to be productive in your day-to-day life but you don’t have a clue how to achieve that? I’m sure you’ve read lots of articles on productivity. The point is, though, whether you pay attention to the advice you read. If you really want to increase your productivity, keep the following tips in mind!

Get up as soon as you hear the alarm

The first but most important step to starting your day productively is waking up as soon as you hear the alarm clock ringing. And by waking up I don’t mean just opening your eyes, but getting out of bed! The alarm is a torture, I know. However, an upbeat song will brighten your mood and thus boost your productivity for the duration of the day!

Stay on track by listening to music or watching inspiring videos

While you shower or prepare your breakfast, keep listening to music to fully wake yourself up and feel like you can start your day off right! You could also watch an inspiring video which will certainly stimulate your mind and motivate you.

Exercise and eating healthy

The combination of exercise, and a healthy diet plays a very important role, if not the most important one of all. If you’re feeling good inside, you can externalize that energy you’re feeling into all your activities. Make sure that you take care of yourself so that you can succeed in everything you do! 

Organize your space

A tidy space cannot help but contribute to the “decluttering” of your mind, as well. Keep your space organized and neat to have a motive to want to work in it!

When you’re done tidying up your space, get started on “tidying up” your mind as well. Set small goals and create a realistic work plan. They say that tackling the most challenging tasks first adds to your productivity. However, I’d suggest just the opposite. When you begin with the easiest tasks, you increase your performance because you’re not discouraged from the start. This way, you shall gradually reach the desired outcome!

Extra tip: Discover your most productive time of day. You might think that you perform better in the morning, but there’s people that are most productive during the evening hours. Try everything in order to discover yourself and your capabilities and then everything will seem like a piece of cake!
